Blacks in Europe and the USA generally live much better than blacks in Africa do. They BENEFITTED from the slave trade. Why are we apologizing to them? Shouldn’t they be thanking us for continuing to host them even in light of their relatively pitiful social metrics?

Those interested in history should pick up a copy of "Negroes in Negroland" (available from Amazon) or download it free from the web since it is in the public domain now.
Published in 1868, it is a compilation of journals and diaries of merchants, missionaries, explorers and slave traders involved with Africa in the 19th century. These are all eyewitness accounts and the chapter on cannibalism alone is jaw dropping.

Diana is descended from Charles II, the king who was restored to the throne and was something of a party guy with lots of children but not one legitimate kid who could inherit the throne. So the throne went to his younger brother James II instead. James was father to Mary and Anne who both became queen regnant but neither had surviving children.
