FWIW, we just “met” him three years ago through DNA matching. He was born to my wife when she was 17, in 1970, and given up for adoption by her parents. It was an amazing reunion and all six of his siblings and step-siblings embraced him.
My wife had named him and sort of celebrated his birthday every year.
