Why not? These beasts would never be freed from captivity to roam in the wild, but they could be kept in an isolated, natural park-like setting, with other animals restored to life from the same era. Maybe on an island, where tourists could visit and view them in safety until something goes horribly wrong, in which case Chris Pratt would save the day.
Seriously, though - our ancestors lived and thrived with the biggest saber-tooth species that ever lived and may have driven it into extinction. I'm sure we can handle some zoo specimens just fine - we're a far scarier predator than Smilodon.
