Melinda Gates reached a breaking point before filing for divorce from Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates.

During conversation with Gayle King on CBS Mornings—which is set to air March 3—Melinda shared that she was an emotional wreck after announcing their divorce after 27 years of marriage, telling Gayle that she shed "a lot of tears for many days" and would lie on the carpet thinking, "How can this be? How can I get up? How am I going to move forward?"

In a March 2 preview, Gayle asked the billionaire philanthropist about the New York Times report that her former husband "sought to initiate an intimate relationship with a company employee in the year 2000," which a spokesperson for Bill would later confirm to the publication to be true, but said it "ended amicably."

Melinda, 57, told Gayle that she forgave Bill and they "worked through some of that," but there "came a point in time where there was enough there that I realized it just wasn't healthy, and I couldn't trust what we had."

Bill Gates Reflects on Divorce From Wife Melinda and "Mistake" of Meeting With Jeffrey Epstein Amid the split, Melinda said that some days her sadness would turn into anger as she tried to manage her emotions in the "grieving process" following the split, but now she's looking forward to the future.

"I mean, this is painful stuff," she continued. "And at the end of the day though, I started on this journey of healing, and I feel like I'm starting to get to the other side. And I do feel like I'm turning a page in the chapter now. I mean, it's 2022, and I'm actually really excited about what's to come and life ahead for me."

Reportedly female, but who knows what’s a cover to a cover to the real story at this level.

And regular, poor and middle-class Americans, who don’t have $50 billion to ease the pain, go through this same problem every day.

Divorces suck, but having Billions helps a little bit. She can go buy some cool shit.

I would imagine any divorce after that long being married would be tough to accept, remaining a billionaire after the divorce is not a bad way to end things with a spouse.

When she married Bill Gates he was a very wealthy tech nerd who founded Microsoft, with all that money and the people he was exposed to, he became a pervert and began to believe his own hype.

Why does she need to do this ritual of public grieving?
It couldn’t be for money. Doesn’t Melinda have some girlfriends she could confide in over a few carafes of Mimosas? She could be ‘stirred, but not shaken’.

Money can't buy happiness. But I'm still willing to give it a try.

This woman is such a phony, I guess all that money she received for her arranged marriage of convenience wasn’t enough to satisfy her ego, she also wants sympathy as someone who wants to portray herself as just a victim in all this.

Let’s face it. This woman herself was an employee hit upon and welcoming of the advances of the uber-rich boss. In her vanity, did she imagine herself unique in this regard?

“...if ol’ Billy boy was making $50k a year as say a plumber, he wouldn’t be so desirable, because let’s face it....”

Bad example.
Plumbers lay a lot of pipe during housecalls.
