Photography is racist! So the historical photography of Matthew Brady, John Vachon, Ansel Adams need to be relegated to the dustbin of history like Confederate statues. After all, they're just a bunch of dead White guys.
Because of the technology back then it was almost impossible to accurately reproduce ANYBODY'S skin tones. And any amateur photographer knows you don't take outdoor pics directly in front of the sun. One reason why for decades the area around the Golden Gate Bridge where it's constantly overcast was frequently used for car ads. Long before it was littered with human you know what😖

I remember when I bought by first 35mm film camera. A book I got with the camera warned that auto-exposure often resulted in too dark of exposure for black people and you had to turn the exposure compensation dial to 1/3 or 2/3. And that was back in the mid-1980s.

This is hilarious. (BTW, just a slight correction: “Lizzo” doesn’t play the flute: She assaults it. It’s a mockery of real musick.
