I used to spend a great deal of time with air rifles/ air pistols... But have not fired them in years! I was hit by a car while on my bicycle and did not get back to it.
A friend managed a local indoor soccer pitch and I could shoot after hours, lots of fun and relaxation. 100 yards, any weather!!!
Also, a 50 ft range in my basement.
My favorite air rifle an RWS 54, air pistol Baikal IZH-46M.
The RWS is recoil-less, very nice for an air piston type, and very accurate.
