Just heard last night, told by a past Olympian, that the big wigs from all over, politicians, leaders... Get picked up in limo, stay in 5 star hotels, have great food. The athletes get crap food. One athlete they quoted said she got pasta with a terrible orange sauce that tasted foul. She said all that was available besides the orange/spaghetti was McDonald’s burgers, KFC, etc. Not healthy food for athletes. Those are junk food, fast food, snack food... not meals. Not healthy meals.

Seems like a serious issue since the athletes need to be maintained in prime condition. Surprised that agreements on housing and food are not worked out beforehand.
I blame the countries that are supplying the athletes. Where are the lawyers when you need them?
