I have used Tax Act for many years and I am very pleased.
I used Turbo Tax one year, and found it didn't do certain things I needed to do, or maybe I couldn't figure out how to do them. On a tip from another FReeper, I tried TaxAct the next year, it handed my my particular issues just fine, and I have stayed with it for about 8 years. I like it a lot, though it's considerably more expensive now.
They revamped the desktop user interface considerably for 2021 and it's much improved once you get used to it.
