Makes more sense than the other way around.
Rightly or wrongly, Trump was known as a tough negotiator. And the Russians knew with absolute certainty that Mrs. Bill Clinton would not protect Secret and Top-Secret documents because they easily acquired thousands of them.
So, which one would they choose?
My hat is off to Margot Cleveland for parsing quite a can of worms into a reasonably coherent presentation. Whether a court has the fortitude to unravel it all is a major question.

The law firm Boies Schuller Flexner has also been involved with that oddball group Free Joseun that purports to be a human rights group, the group that broke into the Norm embassy in Spain...but the group seemed to serve more to disrupt the Trump - Nork summit than to accomplish anything about himan rights in Nkorea.
