CNN President Jeff Zucker and his girlfriend Allison Gollust advised former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on how to handle the COVID-19 crisis and even gave him 'talking points' on how to spar with President Donald Trump, according to new reports which suggest their secret affair was not the only reason Zucker was ousted from the network this week.
According to sources cited by Rolling Stone on Thursday, the pair breached journalism ethics to help Cuomo behind the scenes in the same way that his younger brother Chris did.

An ongoing investigation at CNN that was focused on Chris's departure has now, according to Rolling Stone's sources, also found that Gollust - who worked for Andrew previously - and Zucker were actively consulting the Democratic Governor and advising him.
It could help explain how Andrew Cuomo became an overnight, international sensation.
He held daily, televised press briefings that CNN aired in full, often devoting over an hour of uninterrupted airtime to the updates, and appeared on his younger brother's evening show, reportedly at Gollust and Zucker's behest.
He and Trump - Zucker's famous enemy - would trade insults in the press and according to the Rolling Stone article on Thursday, Zucker and Gollust gave the New York Governor some of the material to fight the then President.
The stardom won Cuomo an Emmy and an army of fans who begged him to run for President.
If true, Zucker and Gollust's breach of ethics and conduct far exceeds them not reporting their romance to company executives, as they were required to do.
Zucker's pro-Democrat, anti-Trump stance was well-known at the network but he never outwardly acknowledged that it steered the network's coverage.

I highly doubt that. Underhanded treatment towards Trump on the left from what I’ve seen is considered gold.

A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.
Q.Where will the government get this money?
A. From taxpayers.
Q. So the government is giving me back my own money ?
A. Only a smidgen of it.
Q. What is the purpose of this payment ?
A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.
Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?
A. Shut up.
Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the U.S. Economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:
* If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China or Sri Lanka .
* If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to the Arabs.
* If you purchase a computer, it will go to India , Taiwan or China ...
* If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico , Honduras and Guatemala ...
* If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea .
* If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan .
* If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go ; to management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.
Instead, keep the money in America by:
1) Spending it at yard sales, or
2) Going to ball games, or
3) Spending it on prostitutes, or
4) Beer or
5) Tattoos.

Breached ‘journalism ethics’. What ethics? Journalists are entertainers who will do anything to draw attention to themselves.

Collusion! I think so. Look at CNN’s reporting. They promoted the Hillary Clinton / DNC Russia dossier hoax claiming Pres. Trump was a tool of Russia. CNN promoted the Lawyer Michael Avenatti and client Stormy Daniels rape hoax. CNN promoted the DNC hoax that Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh hosted rape parties and Christine Blasey Ford’s uncorroborated tale of sexual assault at the hands of Brett Kavanaugh. CNN promoted Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s daily TV Covid lectures. However CNN was silent when Gov. Cuomo, Gov. Murphy and Gov. Whitmer ordered Covid positive elderly people into nursing homes that successfully killed thousands.
Come to think of it it appears Jeff Zucker and the CNN team promoted the Democrat Party all the time. CNN misrepresented itself as a news organization but instead it is a political organization.
Jeff Zucker was fired because I believe AT&T could not unload CNN, part of Warner Media, at the agreed upon price with all the questionable political drama swirling around the CNN drain.
They were not mearly reporting the news, they were fabricating, directing and making the news. In essence, they OVERTLY engaged in promopropoganda.
I can't believe it. It never occurred to me that this might be going on. I was certain that Chris Cuomo could separate his family connection to the Governor of New York from his well-known sense of Journalistic Ethics. I feel cast adrift in a sea of uncertainty and disorientation. Everything I accepted as the bedrock of normality has been shown to be a lie. Whatever shall I do.
Zucker is the kind of potato-headed troll who, where he not the president of CNN, would have as much chance of snagging a decent looking bird as Quasimodo.
