Actually, this is false. Medical marijuana is illegal under federal law in all 50 states (57 states according to Obama). The feds just don't enforce it unless they want to.

There actually is a process for the movement of funds that could be considered illegally held. If they had followed the law, they wouldn’t have had a problem. This situation has very little to do with what the money was from and which states allow the use of MJ. It is a federal requirement for the control and transport of funds that could be considered gained by or for criminal intent.
