Wow. I had to look them up. He wrote about 1/4 of them, but almost all of them have a certain meter (starting with "Mandy" which wasn't his) that allows him to own it. "Copacabana", which IS his, is an extreme example of that.

One of Manilow’s best compositions, IMO, was to a lyric by the late Johnny Mercer. It’s “When October Goes.” Wonderful song.
