Denying natural immunity in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service (CMS) vaccine mandates is “unprecedented in modern history,” a prominent public health expert said.

Dr. Scott Atlas, a former White House COVID-19 Task Force adviser during the Trump administration, made the remarks after the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) decide to uphold the CMS vaccine mandates in a Thursday ruling.

He told The Epoch Times that the ruling is “another serious denial of scientific fact” specifically mentioning the denial of natural immunity in CMS vaccine mandates.

I'm not sure what the rules are regarding posting from The Epoch Times (I've had issues with posting entire articles in the past), so I posted the first three paragraphs. I didn't hit a pay wall, mirrored through (the dreaded) Zero Hedge.

I listed this in chat/discussion because something occurred to me last night, and I wonder why it wasn't mentioned in arguments. I'd like to hear FReepers' thoughts.

The shots are only authorized via EUA, with the exception of Bio-N-Tech, which means that they legally cannot be mandated by the government. However, the BNT shot isn't available in the USA that I'm aware of, so if I'm not wrong on that, how was that argument not made?

Scott's point of noting that natural immunity not even earning an honorable mention is horrifying. I realize that it was said that the trial wasn't about efficacy, but the legality of the mandate.

Hitting us right now. We just got over COVID two weeks ago and the wife works at a nursing home that takes medi___. Now she falls under the mandate. I think it’s stupid she should have to get the jab now.

She also had the monoclonal “antibody” infusion and while I was searching for how long one might want to wait between infection and vaccine, I found that the CDC recommends waiting 90 days after mAb infusion to get the vaxx. Glad I stumbled on that and wondering if that will be made clear in the mandate info. Otherwise, a lot of health care workers might be getting the mAb due to rampant Omicron and not know to wait to get the jab.

What will happen to them?

At least I have some ammo for the wife to put off getting the vax for a couple of more months. Something besides the unrecognized natural immunity. Maybe our state, Missouri, will do something by then.

Israel considers a prior case of COVID equal to one of two mRNA shots. They use strictly the two shot Pfizer. The UK and EU also give some credence to prior covid/natural immunity but not the US.

Good grief. MAbs will keep your immune system from learning to create antibodies because they wipe out the virus before that can happen. The waiting period is needed to insure that MAbs have cleared your system so that the vax won’t get “killed” too.
