I skip through the scenes until they say something important (which most times they don’t).
Besides that, it is a good series, especially compared to what they do nowadays....
Haven’t read the books, but may look them up (books are always better than screen).
(It seems that almost no series or movie past about 2005 is worthy anymore. It is rare, anyway).
Most good movies are prior to about 1985.

It’s not even convincing sex. It’s fake HBO sex and not the least bit interesting.
The book series, however, is something else entirely. Sure there’s sex in it, but the story, the characters, the alternate universe with parallels to the War of the Roses are what it’s all about. Not just some lousy actress moaning “OH! OH! OH!” in a fake orgasm.
