I guess this is how presidential campaigns begin these days. Hire a PR firm and they get you exclusive interviews with the Post so you can talk about weight loss.
I guess he remembers what happened to Chris Christie and doesn't want to face the same scrutiny.

Spoiler alert: He ate a healthier diet and excised. He converted his basement to a gym and quit stuffing his face with cheeseburgers and pancakes.

Impressive. I’m trying to drop about 20 myself and I started before Christmas. I’m halfway there.
Keep up the great work, Sec. Pompeo.

I’ve developed L4-L5 acute lumbar stenosis which is pressing against my sciatic nerves. At 300 pounds, I knew I had to do something. My pain management doctor said the best thing, short of surgery (which I do NOT want) is to drop the weight. That was my motivation.
I’ve been on Nutrisystem and so far am down 60 pounds. I definitely see a difference in lessening my back pain. Got a ways to go, but I plan to keep it up.

Christie did lose a lot of weight, didn’t he? But he put much of it back.

I didn’t see anything specific, except will power and eliminating snacks - that can’t be the whole story.

Everytime I see him appear on Fox I am inspired. He looks great .
As another shrinking fatty I can see there’s hope.

This is great news - it means Pompeo us still on the list for VP or maybe President some day... it’s NOT a health issue! He’s plenty healthy.

Why is it always the case that people in their elder years after dropping 60 or so pounds looked like they aged 30 years?
Now instead being fat, they look ancient.
