What a great opportunity! I can finally ask a question...

I’ve been seeing a lot of those Cannondale mono-fork frames lately.

What’s the benefit?

Pro Tip: Find a favorite view and then ride by it often.

I just got a new bike. Never heard of the brand, but it seems it will be nice for trail riding.

The brand is Bicystar. It has disc brakes, 21 speeds and thumb shifters. Love it so far. Going to try the local rail-trail this weekend.

Taking advantage of unusually balmy whether in Bavaria yesterday, I drove 20 km to the golf course where I could engage in my pastime without encroaching on anyone's free access to the motorways. Along the way I was pleased to observe numerous hikers well off the roadway on paths as well as the truly magnificent sight of equestrians hacking through the countryside.

I am further pleased to report an unusual event, not a single bicycle obstructed my driving route.

I do not feel I fit well in this forum since I rarely deal with high-end bikes, as instead, as a evangelical doing ministry, after I fixed a kids’s bike on the street in this low income city a few years back of high pop. density then there have been a succession of kids coming for the same, thanks be to God (though i can grumble someone as in the cold Winter yesterday). I never charge labor for any work at all (having left all to serve the Lord in 1986), nor solicit funding, but I do try to get the money back that I spend for parts (not for patches and little stuff), which I usually find the lowest prices for (like 9$ - now $11.50 for 20’’ tires, $ 10.50 for seats, 48 patches for $3)

Thus if i can be of help finding parts let me know.

What about e-bikes?

I got my wife a Himiway StepThru Cruiser e-bike for our anniversary. Im lazy so putting a motor on a bicycle is brilliant in my book.

It’s cold finally here in Colorado but I got a lot of time in in December on local trails. I met a guy in Monument that knows the local trails pretty well so we rode together a lot this fall. He got a new Ibis Ripmo so he is pretty hard to keep up with going downhill, but I really learned a lot trying to keep up with him.

So back to the indoor bike this winter. I have a Bowflex C6. I am anxious to see what the Eastern European programmers have dreamed up for Rouvy this year, it looks like they changed everything but the excellent routes they have.
