There are various records, access logs and such that cannot be tampered with, deleted or such. There are attorneys out there who know what to look for. You don't have to rely on just the human element to make a case.

I fully understand, but until it directly harms me, causes a hardship, or defames my character I have no true complaint to pursue it. Nothing will happen to them anyhow. It is the nature of the beast. They are not going to go out of their way to help me bust a Cop. All they might do is shake their finger at him but I will never hear another word about it.

Maybe you live in circumstances where that's how that may roll. I was in some similar situations where it didn't go well for the cops. Not a single one of them is still in law enforcement. We weren't their first victims of bullying but we were certainly their last.

Among the rest, there is ONE important thing I learned from my brief experience on social media:

Our Founders were geniuses about democracy... i.e., absent a discussion, I changed NO ONE’s mind and could never have, even as an influencer under the thumb of the social media tyrants. Mob rules. Going to a fight with a keyboard won’t change a thing.

I’ve heard the tired argument from others I left behind on FB: “If I reach one person, it’s worth it.”

I apparently lack that gene (ego) and/or emotional need, and there’s no substituting a text-based “gotcha” for a good old, knock down argument face-to-face. I got into social media to facilitate my business at the time; I learned valuable lessons and I’m not alone.

The evidence is all around us: The new great migration is happening as I type.

I had a guy who was hounding me with private messages. He wanted to know my shoe size, which would determine which of us was smarter.

When I told him to F#%$ off in a private message, he reported me and I was suspended.

Thank you for sharing that. And I understand, I have only myself to blame. I have been visited by the feds also, and had my domain hacked by the DOD and the NIC at the request of McCain because I hurt his feelings on Twitter.

I have the proof from my server host... And I know that MaCain was the source. He was the only one I could have pissed off at the time powerful enough to get it done. Both the DOD system and someone who using the NIC system as sources simultaneously. The NIC system serves the FBI and the CIA.

Guarantee you're not their first and only rodeo when it comes to behavior like that. The problem is that the victims tend not to be aware of each other, but in the event that they do and go to comparing notes, that changes the dynamic completely.

My NextDoor is mostly things like lost dog, found dog, flooded road, etc.

There is a political group, but I stay away from that.

Once in a while someone gets political or rude and that’s usually followed by several people telling them to go away.
