I’ve never been threatened by a cow yet.
The closest I did come to get stomped was about 15 feet away from a bison at Elk Island Park.

I came around the bend and there he was. Fortunately, he wandered off deeper into the marsh so nothing happened to me that day.

When I was eleven or twelve during WWII, I stared to milk our cow, Vickie. She spun around and butted me against the barn wall several times (knocked the wind completely out of me). Fortunately, she had been polled, or I could have been killed. Thereafter, someone else milked Vickie.
