At the the end they get the firing squad. Sounds great except the firing squad.
Death by firing squad can still be an honorable death.
Hangings on the other hand are usually not for the honorable and are reserved for lowly traitors which the Liberals are.

My vote on that issue is hangings are too good for them - use a steel pole-mounted gibbet instead - watch them starve to death, then the crows peck and eat the eyes etc - long lasting warning to others, saves wear and tear on tree limbs.
