Apparently some people are actually going through life with the mindset that “My government would never lie to me”.
I, on the other hand, have always believed that “Everything my government says is a lie”.
I think I’m a leg up on the competition.
In law, that's called a "rebuttal presumption," and I've long believed that it is the only reasonable way for a person to think. Truly, those who think otherwise at this point are pretty much fools.
