Longtime NBC News broadcaster Brian Williams issued a strange warning Thursday as he retired from his 11 p.m. MSNBC show.

"Grown men and women who swore an oath to our Constitution, elected by their constituents, possessing the kinds of college degrees I could only dream of, have decided to join the mob and become something they are not while hoping we somehow forget who they were.
They’ve decided to burn it all down with us inside. That should scare you to no end as much as it scares an aging volunteer fireman."

Maybe “strange” coming from a Media Establishment guy who still seems pretty clueless about how things went sideways and what the problem really is today.
He seems to know something is wrong but doesn’t know what it is. Many are in that boat.
What he really meant to say: “Don’t you damn people understand how great I am? You’re really gonna miss me dammit! You just don’t realize it yet.”

Brian Williams is so infiltrated he thinks conservatives are the people burning things down. This after over a year of - damn democrats burning down our cities for over year... What a fool.
He and his colleagues are among those who have helped to make the place unrecognizable.

Is it just me or is there suddenly lately a lot of Dems quitting the Dem team? That team has pulled dirty tricks and lies for years now so, what give?

I don’t get what he’s saying. Is he claiming Democrats or Republicans are burning the place down?
Seeing as how Dems essentially control Congress, I don’t see how he could be talking about Republicans burning things down.
I would loathe to inhabit his soul (if he has one).
