There are many battles in this war. At first we took it all in. Churches closed, schools closed, companies closed. doctors did what they were told. Now there are battles. Schools/parents are fighting back. Maybe doctors are now fighting back. Churches some.
When Covid first hit, we did not know what we were dealing with.
It looked bad and hospitals looked to be on the verge of being overrun with cases. 15 Days to Flatten the curve to give hospitals a chance to not be overwhelmed was not asking too much and people thought it was reasonable and went along with it.
After all, it was only two weeks, an inconvenience at best.
If we had known what it would turn into, I doubt very many people at all would have agreed to it.
The biggest lesson to be learned from this is what the government will do if given that kind of unbridled power.
