My diesel...a nice,comfortable,well equipped car...can do 810 miles on the Interstate on a full tank (it's done so twice). When it's empty it can be refilled in about 4 minutes at any one of 40,000 stations from coast to coast.

When EVs can do that (even if it's 400 miles rather than 810) I might consider one.

Until then,no thanks!

I’m driving my Jeep Grand Cherokee V-8 hemi from Western PA to Canton Ohio on Friday. No way I’d drive my EV Ford Mach e on that trip.

Tomorrow I’m driving my Mach e to work, 10 miles away. It’s a great commuter car.

Different tools for different jobs.
