But, but, but. All I have heard is that globull warming and Roundup was killing them off like the honey bees.

Isn’t novavax made from moth genes?

Nobody knows for sure why we're seeing a major shift in numbers. I'm sure scientists know. Scientists knows everything, and their predictions are infallible.

No more Monarchs! We want Constitutional butterflies. We don’t need butterflies carrying swords distributed by watery nymphs!

Don't get too excited. Their lifespan is very short...a few weeks.
Every winter....millions migrate to Mexico.

Now we will have a monarch pandemic. The global warming idiots will be shouting, “Monarchs are taking over! Run for the hills!” 🙄

Butterflies in general seem to be more numerous this year. A couple of months ago we were literally inundated with Queen butterflies here in Arizona. They are similar in appearance to Monarchs.

We’ve seen big differences in various birds and bugs numbers along our migratory flyway over the years, the cycles are interesting. The varmints vary a lot in numbers too.

I’m in FL and seeing 10x more bees than I have in the last few years.

Keep the reports coming!
If any others have never seen over-wintering Monarchs in the trees, it is truly an amazing sight!
I didn’t know that they overwintered near Pismo! Another location to visit.
Pacific Grove and Ardenwood in Fremont, CA are also great spots to see the Monarchs.

Sure sign of a large earthquake coming.

I’m in York PA, and this Spring/Summer/Fall, I saw around 5-6 Monarchs, instead of the usual 30+. Very unusual.
