Man shot by Kyle Rittenhouse reacts to gunman’s emotional testimony

The lone survivor shot by Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last year said Thursday that he believes the teen’s emotional display at his murder trial was mostly about him being “upset that he was caught” for the shootings.

Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, a paramedic shot in the arm, said it was “emotional” to watch Rittenhouse, 18, testify about injuring him and killing two other men last summer as riots broke out in the city over racial injustice.

Grosskreutz is reported to be a convicted felon, felony burglary, probation violation, illegal weapon.

He admitted under oath that he pointed a pistol at Rittenhouse, who then fired in self-defense. I also heard on the radio today that Grosskreutz (sp) has a felony conviction and was illegally armed.

He was illegally carrying in the sense that he was carrying concealed with an expired CCW.

WRT ownership, he had felonies expunged, but this was never questioned during the trial. So, it's unclear whether he had his firearm rights restored afterward.

But, during testimony, it became clear that he lied to several cops claiming that he lost his gun earlier in the evening.

That was provably a lie because photos and video show him with it when confronting Rittenhouse.

I was surprised that he was able to bend his right arm without assistance.
