The dirty little open secret about many pro football players is many really never received (or earned really) an education. And with many it probly goes back to 8th or 9th grade all the way through college.
They have talent to play football so rules are bent to get them through classes so they can play.
Especially college...SI MUCH money involved.
Couple that with many of these kids not having a dad when growing up for guidance and this is what you get...or they get drunk and drive a supercar 150 mph and kill an innocent person.
Very sad.
Years ago i saw a news report on Charles White.
I believe he was a running back on the cleveland browns team.
After his NFL career was over he went back to school...1st grade, he couldnt read
