What is going on?
I understood we were to change our clocks at midnight tonight (11/7).
My cell (Verizon)phone reads 6:22. My Fit-Bit reads 5:18. Fox News reads 5:25. Computer shows 5:25.
Are you having these differences?
Where are you? I have 4:27 a.m. in Henderson County, Texas.
I thought it was 2am to change the time. 4:32 in the DFW Metroplex.
4:33 Temple
Virginia
FReeper posts are still reading the same ( 1 hour later)
Thats weird. Perhaps someone smarter that me will show up with a solution....
It’s 0500 somewhere...
FReeper posts are still reading the same ( 1 hour later)
WRONG!!!!! Should have written FReeper posts are reading an hour earlier.
Going back to sleep;(
Another nice thing about where I live. So close to the equator that there is no reason to change the clocks. Between 11-1/2 hours and 12-1/2 hours of daylight each day.
Everytime I see or read Temple, George Strait pops into my brain.
Greenwhich means something different to different people.
You devices are just telling their truth...
Check your time zone on your phone. The Fit Bit may need to be corrected as well. It happens. My computer says 5:48. I’m in Fort Wayne, IN.
too much effort to just adjust it a few minutes yourself? just because it’s supposed to self set, doesn’t mean it will work correctly OR maybe your device is having some other issue and running slow?
we live in a world of sooo much convenience and comfort we are lazy, which lead to too many willing sheep for the slaughter coming upon us.
focus on what’s important not the minor nusances
Must be rough. May i ask where? Its downright cold up here!
*****too much effort to just adjust it a few minutes yourself?*****
NO!!!!
I was commenting that the HOURs were already showing DST on all the places except my phone. There is no way I can change minutes/seconds on FOX news, Windows or FR.
Our microwave is still blinking the wrong time, I’m not worried...
I wake up when the fox and racoon call it a day...I’ll be asleep before the chickens
Frequently such devices need a 'trigger event' to update their clocks for the bi-annual time changes! Likely, the first call you do on the telephone will update it from DST to ST. My GPS exercise watch did not update till I made it 'synch' and that was all that it needed.
Hope my use of 'trigger event' does not trigger you! [/sarc]
This is correct. Try restarting devices. Ought to resolve issues.
