BTW - I've not read anywhere with s-head "shooting" at the camera if the gal even had a jacket and safety glasses in case the blank "wadding" hit her? Or was he just screwing around and shot at her to be funny?

Well let’s face it, Baldwin has had at least three incidents of fighting. One he pled guilty to and had to take “anger management classes”. I assume he has a record, so why is he being treated with kid gloves. A regular person with a previous record who is a “person of interest” in a murder case would be treated much differently.
We can't read his mind or know his intentions other than a short time earlier he was very angry over re-shooting a scene over and over that he went to the bathroom and came out five minutes later. The shot came shortly afterwards. In a REAL Hollywood set, the gun would be double or triple checked, test fired into the ground and if pointed at the camera a ballistic shield would be there to protect the camera and the person behind it (but rarely is such a shot required). There were a ton of safety violations on this set and workers walked off after several incidents hours before this shooting.
