I have watched a lot of Super Bowls (Being an ex-Patriots fan and ex-NFL fan) but...I stopped watching Super Bowl halftime shows decades ago.
I find them absolutely 100% nauseating and repulsive. I have heard it said that the Super Bowl was/is the epitome of a statement of American culture, and I have long thought if that were the case, we are in serious trouble.
I guess the complete degeneration of the halftime show shows was an accurate indicator.
I recall when the Fox TV show In Living Color timed their Sunday night show to coincide with the Super Bowl halftime show. Everyone I know switched to watch it and then back to catch the second half.
I think the last good Super Bowl halftime show was The Who.
Although, the Rolling Stones, U2 and Springsteen were not bad either.
I know lot of people here do not like Springsteen or Bono.
I do not care. They are ENTERTAINERS.
Hmm. I loved Prince’s show a few years ago. Thought he was the epitome of a pro, going on in a pouring rainstorm & performing perfectly. Class, talent, & guts.
What, you didn't like "The Weeknd", LOL, never heard of them myself.
