I liked the Beatles, but the Stones are, “I know it’s only Rock and roll but I like it.” The Stones don’t apologize to anyone.

Hey Paul, the Beatles fizzled 50 years ago while the stones are still at it. There’s a lot to be said about just having fun with what you’re doing.

Over the years, “Gimme Shelter” has become one of my (top 3) favorite songs. I have also grown to appreciate “Let it Be”, but not quite as much.

Totally agree. I love the Beatles and they will always be the most influential rock band of all time. But based on longevity AND body of work, the Stones are the greatest rock band of all time.

Now who is the greatest American rock band of all time? I think I know.
