The count of one million Cambodian “dissidents” is somewhat accurate except that they weren’t “dissidents”, basically city dwellers, the educated, members of the Royal Ballet, a few of whom I had dinner with in Phnom Penh in 1970, govt workers, medical personnel, etc.
