KDKA's David Highfield finds out what derailed Sky Bus from coming to the Pittsburgh area
The guy is right, when those doors opened the whoosh of cold air startled you on a hot day.
They mentioned the rising costs. I suspect the cost of concrete made it very expensive.
It’s a great idea, because it doesn’t impede traffic.
Pittsburgh is nothing but on and off ramps and highways going through it.......like a maze of roads and one way streets. A nightmare to navigate!
I’ve never spent any time there, but the 3 rivers restricting travel can’t help.
Dems and unions run the city. It was a boondoggle from the beginning.
My husband is from there. We lived there for about 15 years and lived in the suburbs. I would not go downtown because I was intimidated by all those tubes and tunnels and bridges. If you accidentally got onto the wrong one you were so s.o.l. I hated it.
Oh it’s just awful...I made a trip down for a meeting and couldn’t get off the right ramp....then when I did it was trying to find a two way street (impossible) and just when I finally saw the bridge I needed to go on the police pulled me over to a side street because I was in the bus lane...and that street took me up a side hill into a turn around I couldn’t get off......I was over an hour and half stuck in all those loops before I finally got to the Hotel.......Never again have I driven in Pittsburgh!
You have that right....and they control the press there as well.
