I like that Egyptians had electric lights installed on the floors of their tombs. That way, when you wandered around as a mummy, you wouldn't get lost in the dark among the many corridors. Though I suppose after a few thousand years of this, you'd know them pretty well anyway.

Actually those are LEDs
The change over to LED at Luray Caverns in Virginia made a big difference. Quite stunning.
