About half this time, I thought people were responding to the pic of Michael Flynn and Barky photoshopped into St. Michael and the Devil picture.

That was in reply to Post 1886 which said
"What makes you think this trolling? Seemed like a reasonable question to me."
Now Post 1886 also quoted in italics, my Post 1769

"Yes, of course, but where in scripture does it teach to honor the angels by feasts or praying? It would be helpful to back this up with scripture. Thanks."
For *that* controversy, the difference is that the one poster is accepting as a GIVEN, Sola Scriptura, which is not accepted by everyone.
My response was not "You'd better do it my way or else"; but a reminder that not everyone in Christendom (either geographically or temporally) necessarily agreed.
