Maybe the headline is a poor translation from another language.
“Strong light” refers to felony charnges.
“reveal small areas” refers to the child in the home.
“foil loss” refers to the overcoming of to testify.
“purple rhinestones” refers to sexual battery.

Why is the headline interesting? It says the DA was arrested and charged with rape, which is what the story seems to describe.
