Folks, the patented drug, “cysteamine,” is something our bodies make from something else our body makes, “pantetheine,” which is available as a supplement. Pantetheine is the immediate precursor form, which breaks down into simple cysteamine (the drug) and pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5).

If this sounds useful for you, as it does for me, look into pantetheine!

“Cysteamine is a chemical compound that can be biosynthesized in mammals, including humans, by the degradation of coenzyme A. The intermediate pantetheine is broken down into cysteamine and pantothenic acid. It is the biosynthetic precursor to the neurotransmitter hypotaurine.

I read a book called “Wheat Belly” by Doctor William Davis, a cardiologist, several years ago. He said that if you gave up wheat, your LDL would go down.

I gave it up and my LDL went down 40 points in 2 months. My doc is happy and so am I. Never ever miss wheat. I eat potatoes for starch.

No drugs necessary. Go read the book—your library probably has it. If not, AMZ does: https://smile.amazon.com/Wheat-Belly-Revised-Updated-Weight/dp/1984824945/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1IBE62T2O4YKK&dchild=1&keywords=wheat+belly+revised+and+expanded+edition&qid=1631234783&sprefix=wheat+bell%2Caps%2C239&sr=8-2

It seems thiol functional groups are really powerful antioxidants. Lipoic acid and n-acetylcyteine come to mind. Good find.

My heart scan looked really great. Just a little plaque in one artery.

No idea why it is better than it should be but i do sporadically take this vitamin.

Vescepa EPA Omega 3 prescription does the same. Data > FDA approval to confirm. I buy EPA only (NO DHA) OTC Omegavia EPA 500 and Carlson EPA Gems. DHA Omega 3 is detrimental to Cardio health. May be great for other conditions in younger folks.

Interesting - I may look for this at the store. I have had a great deal of issues with high blood fat levels for many years.
