The damage to the country has been done. Women feared out of control violence by voting for Trump, so they opted for Biden.

I have always pushed that grudge hard here. However, while still agreeing with you and hating their actions in the suburbs, I have seen pretty good evidence that young males were the ones who did President Trump in by abandoning him (talking here about the actual honest votes cast---not the phonies).

Why they committed that travesty I don't know. I will say young males have always been the #1 supporters of fully legal and unrestricted abortions. (Gets them out of responsibility.) And some want the feminist Liz Warren supporters to swoon over them.

Yep. “Mistakes were made.” But don’t your dare even mention their willful abdication of official responsibility or try to make the mistake makers accountable for their bad decisions.

Very European. The top leader is never personally morally deficient or just plain wrong.

Why?

Because they were either placed in power over the people by an ancient allegiance to succession ultimately dating back to a time when royalty ruled by divine right OR they were elected by the people and the people’s collective judgement is above criticism. Hence, their failings as leader are perpetually laid off as being due to receiving bad advice from their trusted advisors/staff.

“Mistakes were made.” Leader who authorized the mistakes is not named so lodging specific responsibility for specific mistaken/bad decisions cannot be made either.

“Not the right strategy.” Bad advice from the police, other parties consulted; their fault for misleading the leader.

“I accept responsibility.” Easily said when no higher authority is going to penalize you for your mistakes and you are effectively beyond the reach of the justice system and the voters.

And even after it was pointed out, the thread continues its merry journey in the wrong direction. I suppose even most Freeper just don't read critically anymore.

No wonder we're so screwed as country.

Jury tainting. He’s being sued for the CHAZ deaths, more suits coming. That will keep him out of DC or even some scumbag job with the Conference of Mayors.

And his admission to his failure to address the crap and murders that went on in his city “should” be enough to indict and convict his stupid ass along with the police chief and city council.
