Kinda reminds me of my current keyboard. Its a new “old” style mechanical keyboard that can be heard everywhere...so they know when I am on a tear, and when I am probably watching something on youtube....

The owner is actually a decent guy, and treats us better than the industry standard (the standard is pretty low).
Until the lease expires, he isn’t really saving much by having us work at home - in fact, the upgraded infrastrucure probably means its actually costing him more.

When I worked I had three screens side by side. Two were for work and the third was my personal computer. Had two mini keyboards which fit well on the desk workspace. Any outside work surfing was done on the personal one.

If you don’t want the spyware go to the office. If I hired people to work at home I would expect them to actually work. I do a lot of consulting from home and have my skype on when my clients expect me to be at the computer working on their projects. I would expect the same.
