I think you would be safe to presume any coyote you see during daylight is rabid.
Though they seem to be heard more at night, they are not strictly nocturnal. They said, it’s safe to presume they are at least carrying rabies.

Not at all. Coyotes are out during the day a lot. Where I used to play golf we’d see four at time hunting gophers in the deep rough regularly. They would line up abreast and trot through the rough with the heads swiveling trying to scare up some food. Same at the ranch, plenty of daytime sightings.
Not at all. They are common in the daytime. I had some living underneath my suburban shed and the came and went all hours of the day. I ran them off.
Does every woman you see in daylight have syph?
