Hydroxychloroquine vs Ivermectin vs Quercetin

Hydroxychloroquine vs Ivermectin vs Quercetin

All three are zinc ionophores. All three on the recommended list by Dr Zalenko and others for COVID prophylaxis or early COVID treatment.

First two require prescription, quercetin does not.

All three are safe for the vast majority of individuals.

No comparative studies for efficacy.

Thoughts on which is better or best?

I have been taking Quercetin for thirty years. No side affects. Take it along with a big aspirin. Carotids pump like new.

Lots of information on efficacy there.

FWLIW I’ve been taking zinc and quercetin since June of last year. I’d already been taking D3 and C for years.

Quercetin works, and is otc.

ECGC works but less well, and is otc.

Hydroxychlorquine works, and is prescription. It’s precursors historically are chloroquine and quinine, the latter of which is available otc as pills or good small batch tonic waters.

Ivermectin works several ways beyond zinc (it is ant-viral and anti-inflammatory), is prescription for humans and dogs (exactly “Heartgard”), but is also available without a prescription for horses. Effectiveness demonstrated here:

When the bug bites me, I’m hitting it with everything I have and a doctor will prescribe.

For practical purposes, the serum levels of the zinc ion should be up at an adequate level. Normal daily dietary requirement for zinc is about 7 mg. Supplemental zinc as the Zn++ ion should be several times that for prophylactic purposes against COVID-19 Wuhan virus. Zinc becomes toxic at about 100-300 mg daily intake, and is lethal in doses approaching 2,000 mg daily.

Zinc Gluconate is available in 50 mg tablets, at pretty reasonable prices.

“..FWIW, I’ve been taking zinc and quercetin since June of last year. I’d already been taking D3 and C for years....”

^Same here^
When I contracted the rona, I added NAC and K2 to the mix, upped the zinc from the daily 30mg to 50mg for awhile. Also used Drip Drop hydration powder to fight the dehydration I was experiencing. I’m 70 and in good health for my age. I will admit that it was 12 days of pure misery for me that wore me down more than I like to admit, but I pulled thru it and with no lung infection. My wife? Nothing. She even accidentally drank from my water bottle...nothing. Weird.
FWIW, I personally know 3 guys that took the jab back in mid-june/early July.
The 3rd one just died last week. Two of em were already in poor health. The third one was in decent health for his age (54). As far as I know, none of em had previously had the rona. Took the jab and are now no longer with us.
Needless to say, I ain’t taken the jab...no way.

Zelenko said on the Stew Peters show that Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin are the “50 caliber” ammo which should be used if you can obtain it. Quercetin and something else (forgot that one) is the “22 caliber” in terms of strength and should be used as the alternate.

All three provide the same thing, allowing zinc to enter cells which stop RNA replication process. If you can get HCQ or Ivermectin all good, but I believe Quertin is just as effective.

Here is the Zelenko protocol for usage:

The Zelenko protocol

Low Risk Patients

Young healthy people do not need prophylaxis against Covid 19.In young and healthy people, this infection causes mild cold-like symptoms. It is advantageous for these patients to be exposed to Covid-19, build up their antibodies and have their immune system clear the virus. This will facilitate the development of herd immunity and help prevent future Covid-19 pandemics. However, if these patients desire prophylaxis against Covid-19, then they should take the protocol noted below.

Moderate Risk Patients

Patients from this category are healthy but have high viral-load exposure. This group includes medical personnel, caregivers of high-risk patients, people who use public transportation or may otherwise be exposed, first responders and other essential personnel who are crucial to the continued functioning of society. These patients should be encouraged to take prophylaxis against Covid-19 in accordance with the protocol noted below.

High Risk Patients

Patients are considered high risk if they are over the age of 60, or if they are younger than 60 but they have comorbidities, that is, they have other health conditions that put them at risk. These patients have between a 5 to 10% mortality rate if they are infected with Covid-19. These patients should be strongly encouraged to take prophylaxis against Covid-19 in accordance with the protocol noted below.

Protocol for Low and Moderate Risk Patients

Elemental Zinc 25mg one a day Vitamin C 1000mg once a day: (see also)

Quercetin and Vitamin C: An Experimental, Synergistic Therapy for the Prevention and Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 Related Disease (COVID-19)

Quercetin 500mg (OTC) once a day If Quercetin is unavailable, then use Epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG) 400mg (OTC) once a day: (see also)

Zinc Ionophore Activity of Quercetin and Epigallocatechin-gallate: From Hepa 1-6 Cells to a Liposome Model,

Protocol for High Risk Patients

Elemental Zinc 25mg one a day Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) 200mg once a day for 5 days, then once a week: (see also)

COVID-19 Outpatients – Early Risk-Stratified Treatment with Zinc Plus Low Dose Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin: A Retrospective Case Series Study

If HCQ is not available, then use Low and Moderate risk protocol

My wife and I have been taking C, D3, Zinc, and Quercetin from the start. We both got COVID, were mildly sick but really sailed right through. 60 years old (give or take) and overweight with well-managed high blood pressure. I figure we are immune now from all variants. Still taking all the same stuff.

I’ve been taking a quercetin/zinc combo for most of a year now, along with D. No side effects that I’m aware of. If i get so much as a sniffle I take another zinc and it’s gone in an hour. Might be my imagination since I can’t see how it could work as fast as that, but it seems to work.

I have been privileged, in the last year, to be able to get year-round sunshine, and I take zinc daily.

When I contracted the virus, I took two ivermectin immediately.

I suffered for 24 hours, and then the virus completely disappeared. It was astounding.
