In an effort to dig up evidence that could absolve Josh Duggar, the former TLC star's defense team is seeking more information from the multiple police departments that prosecutors say downloaded child sexual abuse files from his IP address.
In a partial victory on Thursday, a federal judge granted the Duggar team's request. Judge Timothy Brooks ruled that prosecutors could likely work with federal agents to obtain the information Duggar's team wanted from the Jonesboro and Ozark police departments in Arkansas.
"The defense has persuaded the Court that the auto-generated logs emailed to the three officers could disclose information to the defense that may be either exculpatory or inculpatory," Brooks ruled. He added that if no such logs exist, prosecutors should inform Duggar's team.
Duggar, formerly of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," is charged with receiving and possessing child pornography. He has pleaded not guilty and was released from jail in May. His trial is due to begin in November.
At a detention hearing in May, a federal agent testified that Duggar downloaded and possessed 65 images of child pornography, as well as a two-minute video featuring young girls between the ages of 5 and 10. The agent told the court that one of the downloads was one of the worst pieces of child pornography he had witnessed in over 1,000 cases.
Duggar's defense team has been bickering with prosecutors for weeks over evidence - specifically, a screenshot prosecutors provided showing that three police officers from three different Arkansas police departments had downloaded child sexual abuse images from an IP address linked to Duggar's used car dealership.
Of those three departments, only the Little Rock Police Department contacted federal agents for a child pornography investigation, prosecutors said in an August 9 court filing.

How? If he was using Torrent software, that would make sense. Otherwise, that tells me they hacked him somehow. His defense could have a field day with that.
From other reports there is stuff all up in his computer and phone. Plus at the time it came in he was there at the computer and from what has been said it can be proved he was there.

It sounds like the police departments were downloading child pornography and then not initiating an investigation. That does not sound appropriate to say the least.
It would be nice if they could provide that little detail.

No, they probably have a unit for crimes against minors and cybercrimes. Whatever they saw probably had nothing to do with their jurisdiction and may already have been in Federal possession.
It’s possible that somebody was following up on another name that had some connection to Dugar. It’s also possible that somebody was just curious to see if there was any foundation to the charges, and accessed it for that reason...which is illegal. But they weren’t doing it for fun.
That suggests the presence of the illegal images on an internet server, not just a computer used by Duggar. That could be evidence of some kind of activity by Duggar, or it could be a result of activity by a third party with access to the server.
That seems like something both the defense and the prosecutors should want to fully understand,

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt in today’s corrupt society. I don’t trust the government one bit and have no doubt they will plant evidence on any inconvenient political enemies. What’s to stop them? Nothing Who will question them? No one. Who will defend a child predator when there is one in the White House? No one.
So who is this Mr. Duggar? I have been out of town for a few minutes and don’t recognize the name.
I am not doubting anything at all, as nothing has been adjudicated.
At the end of the day, conservatives and those who call themselves Christian’s will be targeted, will be framed, and will be persecuted by individuals and society ar large, who hate them, or even fear going against the rest of theor own perceived society.
That is satanic French Revolution stuff.
In this country, and from the way our mostly biblically derived Constitution once generally worked, a person may well have been guilty, (and Josh may well be guilty), but a person was “presumed innocent until proven guilty”.
What we have spiralled down to today, is mass left wing ginning up hatred football nominal or practicing Christian’s, and ironically go m.h ing up a terminal hatred and war toward anyone who would espouse moral boundaries.
The left doesn’t hate evil or total moral depravity. They seek to indoctrinate any little children they didn’t get to gruesomely torture to death. Then they will even sell the little persons body parts for profit.
The world has no issue with total moral depravity and their own hypocrisy. They celebtate and revel in it. It is their perverted and twisted “badge of honor”.
But they will spend great resources to hunt down or to find, hypocritical, or fallen “Christian’s” who have sinned, to then paint all Christians as the same, and then seek to crucify them.
If they cannot find such guilt, if they can get away with it, (or better get an assist from the state - which also seeks to end Christianity and conservatism), they will frame their targeted individual and group.
It was never my “lane”, but I have personally been associated with more than one organization, which has the absolute ability, to with 100% redundancy and thoroughness, frame (from top to bottom), every biographic life pattern aspect (including with, and or or including foreign “tracks”, or to stage attack from foreign government entities without leaving our own tracks (in including packet time manipulation, which most advanced tracking software is fully incapable of identifying).
Society is simply no match at all, for what we can do to anyone. Then the press and media will follow the script we give them.
I don’t doubt Josh being guilty. I also don’t doubt the lefts desire to use him to smash conservatism.

That's my first thought. The only way I could think of that happening is if he was on some Peer to Peer system, like Torrent, and actively trading, or if he was set up as a server. Otherwise, I think they would have had to hack his computer.

What a horrific cost.
Regardless of the pathology, the cycle must be stopped.
If Josh is guilty, those he has personally hurt need justice, healing, and love.
The guilty can be forgiven by God, but right needs to be carried out against wrong. As well, the only true way the victims can have healing, is also to forgive. If not, evil and heartache wins.
The saga has already done much damage to Gods name.

IF it was anyone else I might agree with you. However it’s Josh Duggar and I know he’s guilty as sin.

I’ve been following this on other sites. I don’t know what “peer to peer” means but I’ve heard them say he had it and that he was using it. That and a Lenox partition.
