Kind of sad, really. I know nothing of this man except what I’ve read here. It just seems like more wreckage from the 1960s washed up on the shore of death.
I have an art book called Photorealism. This guy’s work is probably in it.
A friend of mine used to do some work for another artist in the same genre named Chris Cross (not the singer). I still have a calendar containing his artwork from 1984.
I remember seeing a painting of a 60’s Ford Thunderbird in the Ber(ser)keley art museum as a kid growing up in the East Bay. That particular piece is listed in my book.
