Leave your cell phone home and get a burner phone, make sure you are wearing a mask and sunglasses, and find some way to get there that they can’t track a license plate.
What exactly is a burner phone and where do you get one?

Never call your own phone or friends/family "real" phone. Never call the burner from these either. Burners should only ever call other burners.
Don't activate it (initial turn-on/setup) at home. Drive to as Starbucks or some common place but one you do not frequent.
Don't turn it on and leave it on at home or in the car. You don't want it to ping the same cell towers as your regular phone. Too much overlap starts to look like they're being carried by the same person.
Pay cash for them, always.
Never buy more than one at one place.
Buy them someplace well away from where you make your regular purchases.
Wear a disguise - or at least hat/sunglasses or reading glasses or some such when you purchase them. Don't look like you on store video. Don't have your car in the parking lot, park around the block. If that phone is ever traced, and store surveillance pulled, you don't want it leading to you. Even better, purchase phones well in advance (months) of using them. Long enough for the store to have gotten rid of old surveillance recordings.

Remove your plate and replace it with “tag applied for”.
