Why does the link to the story put me on a site that is blocked by my firewall as a dangerous website?

“Illegal Mexican Dog. Seriesly.”
Look very much like a “Peruvian Hairless Dog”

Absolutely right on the money. It is a Peruvian hairless. The one captured in the OP too. They rarely have the tuft on the forehead like a Mexican hairless. :)

Coyote or fox or dog with a bad case of mange.
True cryptids never photograph that well.

They’re cool but the gene that causes hairlessness also causes their teeth to fall out.
People who breed these dogs always use a parent *with* hair to make puppies.
There are normally furry pups in every litter.
Weird but true.

Not a mangy canid, though.
Like Lady Gag-Gag, it was born that way.

He left us with about 20 pounds of dog food. Once his tummy was full, he seemed determined to get on with his roaming. The skeeters there were brutal.

That area is infamous for dumped dogs and insanely, what the dog is worth often has little bearing.
I have friend down there and she’s always posting for fosters for dumped dogs she’s picked up.
Some people are just wretched skinbags.

He was on the east side of Homestead Air Force Base. I’d hate to think that someone PCSed and dumped him. There were certainly some scumbags in the area. A lot more pit bulls than anything else.

Sad now.
Either dumped or lost.
Worst fate ever for a Dobe.

I looked that place up.
Horribly, the Glades are a hot spot for dog dumping.
Maybe their POS “owners” hope the gators get them.
Sickening.

I lived in the dorms. No free doggie for me. Got busted for a cat, once. The standard procedure for that was to take them over to the Civil Engineering dorms and some girl would adopt them.
Now that I think about it, having a Dobie greet the people that busted into my room while I was at work would have been more satisfying than the cat. :)

We had *two* spates of city scum breaking into buildings and cars for miles around.
They hit my neighbor's garage, *twice*, just 30 feet from my front fence.
Despite my car being unlocked with an iPad, iPhone and two iPods on the front seat, they passed us by.
The second time they came around, the dogs started up around 3am and I simply walked out and kicked the front door open for the boy.
He hit the fence, in a rage and I heard footsteps running up the dark ridge, dead leaves crunching.
Dog was angry and disappointed.
My signage is barbaric AF. :D

Well, in my case, it was probably some NCO and a clip-board bearing flunky, inspecting rooms. Still.... Having put up with that kind of crap is probably why I have a problem with the door-to-door vax idiots.
After the illicit cat was discovered, I got called into the Section Commander’s office. “Airman gundog...I’ve just heard some alarming news. You’ve got a cat in your dorm room.” I’m like...um...that’s all? Good deal.
A friend had someone get into his house. The dogs took off after them. He called the cops and told them where they went. They wanted to know how he knew. He said he could hear them yelling two blocks away. The cops thought that was pretty funny.

I don’t think they even looked. The dogs came back when they were satisfied.
