There are two problems with the "if we can only guarantee fair elections" theory:

1) How fair are elections if the electorate is increasingly composed of recent immigrants who don't share the values that defined America at its founding? And how fair are elections if the electorate is submerged in propaganda funded by the current set of wealthy elites?

2) How do we break free of this cycle if we are not allowed to say that democracy is a scam? One good thing about an open monarchy is that the populace knows where the buck stops. With the current hidden oligarchy we are supposed to blame Biden if things go wrong. Just like we were supposed to blame Trump even though he was never allowed to be completely in charge.

If we ever get to a situation where journalists are allowed to tell the American people that democracy is, and has always been, a scam then we may be getting somewhere. If everyone realizes that democracy is not about the people telling government what to do, but the people choosing the next set of elites to tell us what to do, then there is hope.

Then people will be more careful about which elites they choose. Maybe having gone to Yale or Harvard will now be considered a black mark rather than a hallmark of good leadership qualities.

About democracy being a scam. Interesting.
Your idea about monarchy I suppose to be a brick through the political window. Shake ‘em up. Get some discussion going. I am in sympathy with that. I do remember interacting with you before about monarchy but have forgotten what the final take on that was.

My accountant Bradley dropped off the payroll yesterday and I asked him about hyperinflation/depression and what financial future he and his people are preparing for. He talked about the FED creating a new crypto currency which will mask the collapse of the USD. I asked how the new financial system would impact our creator-endowed liberties. The gist of speculation is that there will be a new paradigm, and a serious conflict in society (Civ War II? eh mebbe, mebbe not. Violent? How violent??) will presage the new political system.

That new political system could be the Constitution! Not as it is currently understood, but as Madison or John Adams understood it. If you reset society, which they did in 1776, then the Bill of Rights etc. works to retard the inevitable destruction of Liberty. We are at the tail end of that retard period during which people could live, love, grow things, write bad poetry, argue about televised talent shows, love, laugh, and grow flowers or food, worship (or not).

One bad, bad thing about “Democracy” as a political philosophy is that it makes politics the same as life. This IS the very essence of Marxism. Governments can and should remove or restrict the obstacles to the pursuit of happiness. That pursuit must be outside the creating or maintaining of that government.

You know how the outhouse is always too close in the summer, but too far in the winter? Democracy means that everybody in the house every day of the year yelling at each other about moving the outhouse! Monarchy means that we all move HIS ...uh...stuff around in chamber pots. I Samuel 8:10-20.
