One thing nobody ever points out as they compare us to small countries like Norway is that who has a successful LARGE country. It is much harder to manage a large, diverse population than a small, homogeneous one.
Of all the very large countries—China, India, the United States, Russia, Indonesia and Brazil—only the United States can rival the small, homogeneous nations. That in itself is quite an accomplishment.
I still like Brazilians and Indians a lot, even if they don’t do so well.
Obviously wrong since China is not at the top of the list.
Strangely, if you were to exclude American cities run by Democrats we would not even be on the list of dangerous places to live.
