Loving this tour so far.
Day one was rough. I crashed on a track bike at sprint speed. Cracked 3 ribs, my pelvis in 2 spots, tail bone and left skin and on the boards leaving permanent white patches on my body. Woke up to sirens.
Cycling is a dangerous sport and should be appreciated as such.
That said,
Cavendish stage win was a jaw dropping level of raw power and handling skills.
Love the way things are playing out.
