Possibly the suspect was armed. There were reports shots were fired moments after the cyclists were hit. Pretty sure the police wouldn’t start shooting unless suspect fired first since they wouldn’t have know if it was accidental or intentional. The truck went a mile further down, crashed into a utility pole, and the driver fled.
The reporter will try to make a connection between the driver and The Trumped Store, the only retail shop in the nation that sells only Trump merchandise. He drove past the store while fleeing.
The guy driving the truck with a bicycle rim stuck to the grill?
That guy that “allegedly” struck bicyclists?
Hit and run, even with serious injuries, doesn’t justify the use of deadly force. Even chance we’re not getting the whole story.

Details are sketchy, but the driver fled the scene and I presume he resisted.

They also got the “Super Duty” part wrong....an F-150 is just an F-150...Super Duty’s are F-250, F-350, F-450, etc..

The interesting thing is they stopped in in back of store, apparently out of sight, then shot him. Not effectively as he is still alive. Cheaper and more conclusive if he was dead. Tried looking for more about this incident but news seems scarce, so likely guy doesn’t fit with media’s preferred killers.

It has been a long time since the incident, with no more details on the accused, except he is a Caucasian male aged 35, and local. Odd.
