The home where Charles Manson's followers murdered the LaBiancas is finally in the hands of a new owner ... after months of sitting on the market and a significant slash in price.
Sources familiar with the purchase tell TMZ, the Los Feliz crib -- where Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were infamously killed in '69 -- just passed hands from Zak Bagans to someone who's not so famous, and wants to keep it that way.
The anonymous buyer closed on Tuesday, and we're told they paid around $1.8 million ... quite a bit less than the $2.2 mil originally sought when the "Ghost Adventures" star first listed it back in October.
If you can get past its very dark history, the property itself is actually pretty sweet. It's a 2-bed, 2-bath home that clocks in at around 1,600 square feet. It's got a pool, and fantastic views of the city.

Flamethrower included?
That’s not that surprising in Ca.
A mil will get you little more than a garage in that part of town.
If I am not mistaken, I believe that same home was the one that Jean Harlow and her husband Paul Bern owned back in the early 1930s. Bern had some very serious problems with depression and impotence and took his own life.
A friend bought a home where a murder-suicide occured. 3 people dead.
2 years after the murder I went with him to check it out after purchasing it. You could smell the blood even though it was cleaned up. Blood soaked in between the hardwood floors-he ended up ripping up floorboard in two rooms and replacing the underlayment as well.
He rents it out and tell everyone what happened. Always finds a renter.
iirc the Cielo Dr house was raised
And one of the girls, now old, wanted to be let free
Uh, no
Soooooo agree. To live where such horror was perpetrated.....no way.
iirc the Cielo Dr house was raised
Was that the Sharon Tate residence?
“iirc the Cielo Dr house was raised”
Numerous people lived there after the murders including a member from the rock group Nine Inch Nails who has the famous front door in his music studio.
None have reported evil doings or ghost.
Was that the Sharon Tate residence?
Yes
Here in Western New York that would cost about 200K. And we've got 4 distinct and beautiful seasons. (just keep the liberals there, please)
I have some interesting real estate background. I was married to a really charming, smart guy who was a player in the entertainment industry. He got edged out and suddenly we had to leave Los Angeles. He nearly bought a fantastic house in Washington state... Forks, Where they filmed the wierd vampire movies. The wonderful lady, who owned it, was the widow of an Ambassador to a south American country told me to not buy the house. It is now a bed and breakfast. She saved my life. I divorced and found a really good man. Trust when people tell you something!
God, that is horrible. A lot of Hollywood stuff is so horrid.
Nice looking place.
yes
Me neither. Apparently Manson was familiar with the place because he used to party with the people next door. He drove the freaks he put up to the murder around LA for 2 hours before dropping them off there. Still a lot of unanswered questions but it wasn’t random!
