Great news but as long as cable subscribers (millions of them) are forced to subsidize low rated basic cable, there will be ZERO change.
One thing John McInsane was correct about—he fought for it, IIRC, in the late 1980s and early 1990s—was the right for CONSUMERS of television entertainment to CHOOSE their own channels. He was against bundling.
Picking your stations a la carte would likely get RID of low rated garbage stations like fake news CNN, LOGO, etc.
Or those entities would have to appeal to more folks....
I quit DISH this last year and I no longer subsidize Marxist crap on TV.
